Digital games and game-based learning create engaging, entertaining and challenging experiences for children with the goal of achieving specific learning objectives & improving learning outcomes.

Digital learning games provide a micro-learning experience which will allow the learner to cultivate their problem solving and critical thinking skills, in addition to revising topics they have been learning in school in a fun and interactive way. Academic research & literature strongly advocates for gamified learning because it positively contributes to several aspects of childhood & teen development such as; Cultivating decision making skills Improving learner participation Enabling resilience & emotional development Reducing self-consciousness related to learning & study Developing collaboration and competitive skills

The games have been developed for the CBC & 8-4-4 curricula. The class levels that are available are; Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8 & Form 2

Every CBC Grade level will have access to 180 new games per month. Form 2 learners will have access to 300 new games per month. All games will be in line with the curriculum and the school academic calendar.

CBC Grade levels will be able to play various games in Maths, English and Integrated Science. 8-4-4 Form 2 learners will be able to play various games in Maths, English, Chemistry, Biology & Physics. Examples of games include crossword puzzles, drag & drop, card matching & card sorting.

In December 2024 it is FREE! With more new games in the New Year.

From January 2025 we shall have the following subscription bundles payable by

M-Pesa or card payment:

• Daily bundle – Ksh. 10
• Weekly bundle – Ksh. 60
• Monthly bundle – Ksh. 200

There shall be termly competitions. A learner must complete at least 500 games during the school term to qualify for the semi-finals during the school holidays. At the end of the semi-finals the top 10 on the Leaderboard from each class level will enter the Finals. At the end of the Finals the top 3 from each class level will be declared the winners of the Term Competition.

There will be a leaderboard for each class level. Learners’ points will be calculated based on the questions they get right, accuracy during play and time taken to complete each round.
